Natasha’s Reel

Natasha Frank is a London-born, Los Angeles–based composer known for her bold contemporary musical style.

Her recent work includes Queerbait (dir. Nate Gualtieri), a Netflix-backed project executive produced by Cate Blanchett, as well as Achiever (Madhouse Films), set to premiere at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival. Her score for The Bank Yank (dir. Nate Myers) recently received a 2026 nomination for Best Feature Score at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema. Natasha also composed the scores for Some Kind of Paradise (dir. Nicholas Finegan) and Deep Into the Forest (dir. Violet Liu), both of which premiered at the Tribeca Festival to strong critical reception.

In addition to her original scores, Natasha has contributed to music teams across major film, television, and interactive media productions, including the live-action adaptation of One Piece (2023), The Exorcist: Believer (2023), Red, White & Royal Blue (2023), and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (PlayStation, 2025). Through these collaborations she has worked on productions for major studios and platforms including Sony, Amazon Prime Video, HBO, Disney+, and Meta.

Natasha is the recipient of the 2023 BMI Composer Award, one of the most respected honors for emerging composers in the Western Hemisphere, whose past recipients include Philip Glass and John Adams. A two-time BAFTA Scholarship recipient, she was also selected for the 2024 Vancouver International Film Festival Composer/Filmmaker Accelerator and named a winner of the 2025 SAGindie Film Music Connect Program. In 2025, she was invited to join the inaugural BMI Composer Lab under the guidance of Tracy McKnight and Peter Golub, where she was mentored by leading composers including Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard.

Natasha is an alumna of the University of Oxford and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She was also selected for the 2024 mentee cohort of the Alliance for Women Film Composers under the mentorship of Emmy-winning composer Zach Robinson.
